The Hypostyle Halls

The Outer Hall has 10 Columns which are decorated with images of the Gods and the Pharaoh Ptolemy XII wearing the double crown of Egypt. Each Column is topped with a Palm tree image which hold up the ceiling which is decorated with painted flying vultures.

The Inner Hall also has 10 Columns, but these are topped with Papyrus Plants. Again, they are decorated with images of the Gods and the Pharaoh Ptolemy VIII holding a curved blade and is accompanied by his sister, wife and Queen, Queen Cleopatra II.
