Mummification

Beliefs

The Ancient Egyptians were Mummified to honour the wrapping that Goddess Isis undertook to mummify her husband, God Osiris.

In the Legend of Osiris, Act Six, the Goddess Isis, with the help of her brother God Anubis and her sister Goddess Nephthys, collect the pieces of Osiris’ scattered remains.

They bind the God Osiris with linen strips and then resurrect him using magic spells. For more details about the Legend of Osiris, click here.
